reckonsTerry Wallace I was thinking further last night about my nearly-released thesis: 'Richmond and The End of History'. Shamelessly based on Francis Fukuyama's End of History and the Last Man, the paper will conclude that -- perhaps -- our beloved Tiges are finished as a viable entity. Perhaps the culture of losing -- so disturbingly, yet predictably on show against the Crows last Saturday -- has permeated the club so completely to the extent that its condition is terminal. I think sacking that used-car salesman scam artist of a coach Wallace would probably give us all some short-term cheer, but probably nothing more. The club culture -- that is, never making the finals and a propensity to capitulate -- must be acknowledged and an explicit process put in place to address it. Without this, perhaps the club is finished. Last reply 9 Jun 2009

dena: I wonder if Terry Wallace will share the same passion as Diego Maradona after the Argies lost 6-1 "Every Bolivia goal was a stab in my heart," said Maradona. Every Jordan McMahon turn over is like turkey slap in my face 2 Apr 2009

reckonsTerry Wallace Plough is predicting a quiet week for the Tigers at the trade table... this is disappointing...... surely there is a left footed speedster poised to run of the Richmond backline we can trade our first three picks for...... My predicition.... we give up our 2nd and 3rd pick for someone shite from North.......Don’t know who... Don’t know why... but without Miller to guide us, RFC will run around in a panic for 4.5 days.. before thinking that “Oh” we need to trade and the roos will pounce. Posted 6 Oct 2008

reckonsTerry Wallace Terrible article in The Age today on Plough. Gary March endorsed the 'used car salesman' for 2009. Absolute madness! According to March Plough will be there unless "something went completely pear-shaped", which the club is confident will not happen. Is finishing 11th pear shaped???? This is my favorite bit of the article; March said making the eight in 2008 was "never" a benchmark to measure whether Wallace should retain his job next year. I mean that’s only reasonable as only ½ the competition make the finals, and Wallace is in only his 4th year in the job. Lets not get too carried away Posted 30 Apr 2008
