TigerBalm: Selecting Tambling over Franklin was the right call. Finding medium sized half back flankers who average around 12 posessions a game is a difficult job. Players like Franklin come and go every year. 4 Sep 2008

MickTower: You're the only joke t-bird. Lance Franklin is miles ahead of fev. If Franklin just kicked like Fev he would have kicked 150 goals this year. He's also a very modest footballer, unfortunately the same can't be said for Fev. 16 Sep 2008

reckonsRick Ladson im a hawks man and adament that Rick Ladson is too slow, too small and too untalented to be an off the bench backpockket type player for the cellar dwellers, let alont a rotating midfielder in a premiership side. hdogg: Rick Ladson is a Champ!!!!! If you were a true hawks man u wouldn't be dropin a chop on in integral part of this years premiership side!!!! Truly how closely do u watch hawthorn matches?!?! Do u not see the countless amount of unrewarded running he does from setting up attacks from defence then pushing hard forward & being in position to be used from the attack which he started only not to be used, he has a massive engine! He has a deadly left foot thus the reason why he is one of the designated kickers! Buddy kicked the goal 2 win the final v the crows @ the dome in 07 but who was the player that treaded the eye of the needle thru several crow defenders to hit buddy lace out..LADSON! He may he what in AFL terms may be considered a light frame, however he is rarely beaten in 1 on 1 contests & can play on both small crummers or much bigger opponents. He is good @ ground level, is strong over head & very rarely makes the wrong decision under pressure! Couragous - did u not see vs west coast in 05 when he backed back with the flight of the ball knowing full well that a west coast forward would be coming flat out behind him on a hard lead & not for 1 2nd did he flinch! Since recovering from the serious arm injury suffered from that act of courage he has only missed 6 games averaging 24 possessions, been in the clubs leading tacklers, averages 3-4 inside 50s 3 goal assists been top 10 b&f twice (& 12th this year), so not too bad for someone u consider a chop! Oh did i mention who kicked the sealer in this years premiership win um ah oh gee oh yes that's right it was RICK LADSON. Clearly you don't watch hawthorn games closely enough & should be delighted with every player that delivered that clubs 10th premiership for the mighty brown & gold. Think you better go & enjoy a chop on the bbq rather than labeling "one of ur own" a chop! hdogg 13 Nov 2008

reckonsStuart Dew A brillaint footballer .Today was a great example well in fact this seson in fact really tified Dew.He's a great teamman & family oriented person who works really hard ,offers support & willing to lift if there's a need.Today we as Hawks are greatly honered to have Stewy without him we would not have been able to win the 2008 Grand Final since without his powerful left boot which was especially dtrimental in seeting up 3 great goals as well as enabling him to kick two goals.CONGRATULATIONS Stewy i loved watching you especially during today we owe you so much thanks tremendously Well played you are truly deservant of this premership medal. MickTower: You have to give Dew credit. He's proven there's still a place for the big fat full forward in AFL. Tom Lonergan should consider jumping on Dew's meat pie conditioning program over the summer in order to put on the much needed 50 kg that would enable him to take a contested mark. 29 Sep 2008
