'Tigers' 'major' draft concerns:

RICHMOND has voiced "major concerns" about the impact of Gold Coast draft concessions on some clubs, saying it could create an English Premier League scenario in which few teams can win the premiership over a period of years.'

Imagine if someone like Lance Franklin came along and we missed out on him because of the concessions for the new Gold Coast club. Wouldn't that be unfair.

Richmond would be much better of working out how to actually get some value from their list I would have thought. Do they really want to be commenting on the draft and selection?

But Dena, Richmond could've had Lance Franklin. Instead they chose to take Richard Tambling as their first draft pick...

Blimey Fingers.. have you got any concept of sarcasm? stating the opposite of an intended meaning especially in order to sneeringly, slyly, jest or mock a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony. Do you see now Fingers what I did with my gag? I used.. what for it.. sarcasm in a humorous or jesting way. Pretty clever huh!

Selecting Tambling over Franklin was the right call. Finding medium sized half back flankers who average around 12 posessions a game is a difficult job. Players like Franklin come and go every year.
