Jordan
Due to the impact on the sport and how far his name has reached, Michael Jordan has to be the greatest sportsman of all time. People who have never even seen a game of basketball would still know who he is, but i can't say the same of Bradman (still a legend and unmatched in his game) and Woods...

Don Bradman
He is the icon of cricket with a scorecard unsurpassed. He has records held collectively where world class cricketers today take honour in surpassing even one held by him. He is world famous. There are other great sportspeople but, in terms of performance, Don Bradman is about two and a half times...

Tiger Woods is good
Tiger Woods is still at the height of his career. When he has a record that stands unsurpassed for 60 years he might be able to lay claim to icon status as the greatest sportsman ever. But, not right now. His record has not been tested.

What is this guy doing here? Surfing is not a sport, it's what people with no jobs do when the weed runs out.

Golf? Sport?
Any pursuit in which there is zero chance of getting out of breath just ain't a sport. Golf is a pastime at best... All that rubbish about how heroic Tiger Woods was for playing on with a slightly hurty knee at the US open. Don't get me wrong, the boy's a great golfer. Possibly the best...

Wilt in the hot Sun...not good enough I'm afraid!!
Nah, I don't think so, he doesn't deserve to be in the list. Jordan for me proved he was the best of all time and his dominance in his era was enough to surpass any of the greats of eras gone by. Wilt is a sentimental favourite at best.

I feel he is head and shoulders above the rest of this lot - no offence intended to them.

Will probably go on to create a gap between his rival golfers but not the sort of gap that "The Don" has
